Outlander Season 6

We’re at the end of the longest droughtlander yet. But it’s official: Outlander will return to Starz with season 6 in 2022.

The network announced the big news, known as “World Outlander Day” by fans, on June 1. However, season 6 will be reduced to only eight episodes while season 7 will continue to run to 16. The 90-minute premiere episode of season 6 will air.

Matthew B. Roberts (Outlander) stated that they are eager to enter the editing area to bring the fans closer to their family on Fraser’s Ridge. “Filming the 2021 season has presented us with unprecedented challenges. This led us to the decision to end the season to make it as vibrant and dynamic as possible for our fans. To return to normalcy, we will be filming an extended season 7 with 16 episodes.

This isn’t unusual. The first season Outlander premiered in 2014. It also featured 16 episodes.

The premiere date is set for “early 2022.”

New characters will be introduced.

Tom arrives on the Ridge as a leader for a group of Protestant settlers searching for a home. “strong opinions and convictions” that create tension. Allan is Tom’s child, who is protective and distrusting strangers. Malva is Tom’s daughter. She takes an interest in Claire’s work and gets into trouble with her conservative father.
