• Know the problem facing PUBG Mobile’s return to India
  • The Indian version of PUBG Mobile has not yet been released.

The Central Public Information Officer (CPOI) responded to a question asked by RTI (Right to Information) about PUBG Mobile’s return to India, Gem Esports reported.

A few days ago there were reports that PUBG Mobile India has not received the green signal from the authorities.

Now information has emerged on a question filed by RTI that MEITY has not given any permission for PUBG to be re-launched in India.

On 30 November 2020, the RTI query was revealed stating:

“In the month of September in 2020, the Indian government banned several Chinese apps after discussions with the department (MEITY). One of them was PUBG Mobile Game. Now many such reports are coming out that the game is being relaunched and it is being made mainly for the Indian people and it will not cause any harm to the country and the citizens. I want to know if your department has given any permission to relaunch the game or not.

The Central Public Information Officer wrote in response to this:

“MeitY has not given any permission for the launch of PUBG.
