He used to smoke 20 cigarettes a day and consume fast food on most days. On his trips to McDonald’s, he’d purchase a Big Mac meal with a large strawberry shake and then follow along with two cheeseburgers on the side. Some days he would eat 12 Krispy Kreme donuts in a sitting or 2 big Domino’s pizzas.

He said that as a young man with high metabolism, he seemed to fit on the outside regardless of a large amount of food ingestion. Though, it messed him up on the interior. He suffered from severe headaches and was sick all of the time. He admits to having lived with this unhealthy food habit for quite a while.

He further said that the fitness regimen he followed for his roles did little to aid in improving his health. It just made him concentrate on looking good on the outside but it didn’t help him improve his real wellness. He continued being sick and having low energy.

He learned about gut health and which food he should eat and he must avoid making him healthy. With his education in gut health, Hopper has been successful in improving his health and lifestyle and that’s what encouraged him to speak out about his struggles to ensure people like him can take inspiration from him.
