The Witcher Season 2 Release Date On Netflix
The Witcher season 2 will be available on December 17, 2021. This was revealed at the WitcherCon Livestream on July 9.
Netflix renewed Netflix’s series for a second season in November 2019, well before the debut of the first season. For a scheduled debut in 2021, eight episodes of the eight-episode second season were produced in London in early 2020. The COVID-19 pandemic ruined all of this.
The Witcher Season 2 was also put on hold along with all TV and film productions. filming resumed in August as per safety and health protocols.
WitcherCon’s July 9th event featured the release of the Witcher 2 teaser video. The two-minute video opens with Ciri asking Geralt, “I’m Your Destiny?” It shows them arriving at Kaer Morhen to begin training the princess. The danger is right at their heels and Geralt must do everything possible to protect her, while she discovers who she is and what her purpose is.
