After much speculation surrounding the destiny of this series, Netflix has released a trailer for Season 3 of its Emmy-winning series Master of None.

Master of None Gifts: Moments in Love repositions Lena Waithe’s character Denise as the new guide, and the season will chronicle her relationship with her spouse Alicia, played by BAFTA winner Naomi Ackie (Star Wars: The Growth of Skywalker). Seconds in Love will stay tethered to previous seasons of the show when breaking new storytelling ground of its own.

The five-episode season is billed as a contemporary romance that closely illustrates the ups and downs of marriage, struggles with fertility, and personal development both together and apart. Fleeting romantic highs meet crushing personal losses while existential questions of living and love are increased.

Aziz Ansari, who co-created the show using Alan Yang, stays behind the camera, for the most part, with led all of the Season 3 episodes, which he shot movie and co-wrote with Waithe. Ansari, Yang, Waithe, and Ackie executive made the new season Together with Michael Schur, Dave Becky, David Miner, Igor Srubshchik, and Aniz Ansari, while Cord Jefferson and Eric Wareheim functioned as co-executive production.

Netflix will release the brand new season of Master of Not on Sunday, May 23, and I can’t wait for this show to reunite as I think it’s one of the greatest shows the streamer has ever had the privilege of airing. The writing is superb, although I am curious about Dev’s further adventures, especially in light of the private growth Ansari has experienced in recent decades, I’m eager to see Denise steal the spotlight, even as she is a fascinating character as well.

See the trailer below, and let me know if you’ll miss characters such as Wareheim’s Arnold, Alessandra Mastronardi’s Francesca, along Dev’s parents. It is possible all of them might appear in some capacity this year, they simply don’t appear to be in this trailer, which wisely keeps the attention on Denise and Alicia.
