During the Friday Night SmackDown broadcasts on FOX, superstars Natalya and Tamina won the Women’s Tag Team Championships after defeating former champions Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler.

This was the first match of the day prior to WrestleMania Backlash. The champions found themselves at a disadvantage when Reginald was ejected from ringside by the referee. The four women staged a very even and close combat. In the last moments, Nia applied a Samoan Drop to Natalya in the ring and Tamina took the opportunity to apply the Frog Splash and win the match on the count of three.

In this way, Natalya and Tamina win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships . The team of Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax end a 103-day reign since the pay-per-view Royal Rumble 2021.
