
Lucifer season five dropped Netflix back in August 2020 using all the introduction eight episodes of this devilish drama. However, viewers are now anxious to know when it will be returning with its next half after the series has already faced several enormous flaws to filming and had to accommodate to an exciting season six renewal.

But at the time enthusiasts were warned not to expect the last eight episodes anytime soon.
This is only because they have been delayed by the COVID-19 pandemic shutting down production when filming episode 16.
Happily, at the end of 2020, it had been announced filming was able to finish on season 5 as post-production began.
Since then, fans have been patiently awaiting any news regarding the newest episodes’ release date.
Nothing has been announced by Netflix however about when this will come.
The newest update came from the official Lucifer’s writers room Twitter accounts on January 13.
They wrote: “We understand everyone wants to know, but the truth is even WE do not understand when #LuciferSeason5B will emerge.
“It’s not completed yet. The pandemic blew our plans.
“However, when we’ve got an official release date, trust us, we’re dying to allow you to know! Same with a trailer. #patience #Lucifer.”
Cast
All the major stars of Lucifer is going to be back for the second half of season 5.
This means audiences will get to see Tom Ellis, Lauren German, DB Woodside, Aimee Garcia, Kevin Alejandro, Lesley-Ann Brandt and Rachael Harris yield.
However, there’ll also be a few new additions to the cast as well with Dennis Haysbert throw to play God.
In addition to this, Netflix has verified star Rob Benedict and Friday Night Lights celebrity Scott Porter will also both be emerging.
Other new developments include Allison McAtee, Catherine Dent and Teri Reeves.

No, there have been no official trailer released yet to the second half of the season.
This is very likely to come out closer to its official release date on Netflix.
However, there have been some clips dropped of this show so far.
This consists of a trailer for the musical episode, which shows the team singing another One Bites the Dust.’
As well as this, Netflix released a short clip of Chloe Decker (Lauren German) in the moments after the conclusion of episode eight, asking where Lucifer has gone.
Finally, the streaming platform teased fans with a glance at God telling Lucifer: “I have come to ask you something.”
