- Keith Lee filed for his own trademark without relying on WWE
On August 27, 2019, WWE filed an application to register the “Keith Lee” trademark with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. However, the USPTO will cancel the application on December 30 if they do not submit a consent form with the fighter’s signature.
The Hell by Nature portal ensures that on December 18, Keith Lee himself submitted a request to the USPTO to register his own name outside of the request made by WWE, presenting a consent form signed by him and several screenshots for show Keith Lee has been using the name in professional wrestling since 2008.
It should be noted that earlier this year, the RETRIBUTION member “Reckoning” who is Keith Lee’s girlfriend, did something similar with the registration of the trademark “Mia Yim”. She submitted her own application to have the rights to her own name outside of the original record filed by WWE.
