Yes Hocus Pocus 2 is official and it’s in the works Hocus Pocus was released in 1993 The plot involves three witches who are hanged in Salem, Mass., 300 years ago, and their bodies are placed under a curse.
At the same time, under conditions too bothersome to explain, a young boy is turned into an immortal cat. Flash forward 300 years, as the witches are resurrected at Halloween time in present-day America, and the cat is still hanging around, and modern characters including cute little Dani and Max become targets of the witches’ wrath.
Who will be the cast in Hocus Pocus 2?
Well, we can expect the original cast to return as it is a sequel to the original film. According to Collider, they reported that D’Angelo has “been tasked with finding a way to bring back” all three Sanderson sisters which are played by Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy.
Sources close to the situation said that Disney is “hopeful [the three actresses] will be involved with the sequel in some capacity,” but the studio has not yet revealed what exactly that means. We should also expect some new artists on the screen for the new film.
Is there a release date for the sequel? Is there a trailer?
No there is no news about the trailer. But we can expect something after the shooting begins. And there is also not any news on the release date for the same. Due to all the COVID-19 outbreak, we can expect something in 2021. Perhaps Halloween 2021 sounds just about right for the release.
What will we get to see in Hocus Pocus 2?
Although there has not been anything official we expect a few things. As it is going to be a sequel for the first film we can expect that it’s gonna be based on the first film. The writers would use the first film as the foundation and build something on it.
