If you love feeling goosebumps race your whole body, Netflix’s hit docu-series haunted is right up your street.

Each episode tells the story of a single individual’s experience with the supernatural, but that has led many fans to wonder about Haunted’s validity.

So, is Haunted based on an actual story?

Haunted season 3 on Netflix is based on an actual story, so far as episodes tell the story of private accounts of unnatural events from actual men and women.
Haunted uses actual reports from actual people to construct a Story around a frightening event or experience that occurred to them.

Whilst the magnificent reconstructions are not actual (in the theatrical sense), there’s not any proof that any of those balances are staged or individuals are celebrities.

The show has come under extreme criticism with media outlets and lovers questioning whether Haunted’s’true story claims are valid.

The most important focus for this particular criticism was that the season two episode’ Slaughterhouse’, which some audiences thought to be fake as there was little corroborating evidence to back up the case.

On the other hand, the show’s creator and executive producer Brett-Patrick Jenkins has struck back in the criticisms stating that Haunted has been”completely real.”

Concerning the comments in season 1 episode two, Patrick stated on Twitter

Whatever your own opinion about the supernatural, Haunted portrays actual men and women who believe they have real stories to tell; we’ll leave the rest to your imagination.
