Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Limited (IRCTC) has launched an online bus booking service. While giving information about this, IRCTC said that this online service has gone live for the entire country from 29 January.

According to the statement issued by IRCTC, this service will be added to the IRCTC mobile app in the first week of March. With this, users will also be able to book bus tickets through mobile.

IRCTC Partnered With 50,000 Bus Operators

According to its statement, IRCTC has partnered with 50,000 State Road Transport and Private Bus Operators for this service. With this, customers will be able to travel in 22 states and three union territories. Buses of different varieties will be found in this new feature of online bus booking. In this, customers can book the bus by looking at their route, facility, review, and ratings. Apart from this, users will also get to see the image of the bus.

Customers can book tickets at an affordable price by putting their pick-up, drop point, and time in it. Apart from this, customers will also get a discount offer from the bank, e-wallet, etc. during booking.

To book a bus from IRCTC, you have to go to www.bus.irctc.co.in. After this, you will have to log in with your IRCTC account. After this, you will see many options like bus tickets, flights, lounges below, in which you have to click on bus tickets.

After this, you have to choose your travel date by putting your pick-up and drop point. After this, you have to click on the option of search bus. After doing this, you will get lots of government and private bus options. From this, you can travel by choosing the bus according to your convenience and budget.
