Chef Emilio Vitolo Jr. confirmed on Instagram that he has a relationship with actress Katie Holmes, which was speculated by fans for a few months.
“The most amazing, kind and beautiful person. Every time I see your face it makes me smile. Happy birthday! I love you!”, Vitolo Jr. wrote next to an image in which he appears next to Holmes in a kind of restaurant.
Followers of Holmes, who turned 42 on Friday, became suspicious of her new relationship after she was caught walking with her boyfriend in Manhattan this summer.
According to Page Six, the Batman Inicia star formally began her relationship with the New Yorker last September, after she finally separated from actor Jamie Foxx.
The 33-year-old Vitolo Jr. has built a reputation for being one of the favorite boyfriends of celebrities, having also reportedly been in a relationship with designer Rachel Emmons.
In fact, the celebrity was engaged to Emmons until just a few months ago; reports indicated that he ended his relationship with her via text message hours before the first images of him dating Holmes appeared.
A source close to the couple commented that their relationship had nothing to do with the breakup between the chef and the designer, and despite the fact that they have been very much in love, not everyone agrees with their love: for example, the mother of Vitolo Jr., Lourdes, disapproved of his son’s new relationship.
Lourdes believes that the actress is not in the same intellectual conditions as her descendant, so she does not believe that she is a good choice for him.
