The unfortunate news is that an official release date for High School DxD Season 5 hasn’t been revealed just yet. the new season of the anime show was originally expected to premiere in 2020. But, COVID-19 threw a wrench into those launch plans as it did with many other anime releases.
The first High School DxD light book author, Ichieie Ishibumi, did affirm that season 5 of the series is still on the way. In addition, he encouraged fans to continue to buy and read this light novel series as higher sales of this publication may jumpstart the continued production of this anime show. If High School DxD Season 5 premieres this year, then it could probably make its debut during the fall anime season, possibly in October. Otherwise, the next season could make its debut sometime in 2022.
“High School DxD” Season 5: Plot
Issei Hyodo gets killed by a devil on their very first date but is blessed enough to rekindle to life with another fallen angel Rias Ceremony. After his revival, Issei realizes he is not a total human anymore because he has the soul of a devil.
Following his revival, he realizes he will need to juggle been the human and the devil world because he belongs to the two. On the flip side, we saw that Rias includes a soft corner for Issei although things are uncertain on his role.
Also, it is apparent that Yuma isn’t enjoying his proximity with Rias and she is still plotting to hurt him. So”High School DxD” Season 5 will shed light on Issei’s struggle, his love life with Rias additionally on Yuma’s evil plottings.
