There has been intense criticism of the series before, with fans and media questioning whether Haunted’s claims about a ‘true tale’ are legitimate.
The episode of season 2 titled “The Slaughterhouse” was the main target of criticism. Some viewers thought it was fake because there was very little evidence supporting the claim.
But, executive producer and creator of the show, Brett-Patrick Jenkins, has reacted to the criticisms by claiming that Haunted is “completely real.”
Concerning season 1 episode 2’s feedback, Patrick stated on Twitter that all pertinent information was passed to authorities. He hoped this would add “pressure” and lead to an investigation.
