Grace and Frankie’s season 6 premiere was both exciting and saddening. It revealed that there is only one season left. Fans felt a touch of sadness knowing that this was the last season.
The excitement from last season of Grace and Frankie was only as good as Covid 19. For the safety of the crew and cast, the show’s production was stopped in March.
Jane Fonda (Grace), told Today in September 2020 that filming would resume in January 2021. Unfortunately, however, that date was further pushed back.
HAS THE FILMING OF SEASON 7 FINALLY BEGUN?

She also explained why filming took so long to resume in her previous posts. “A long time to delay but, given age and vulnerability, it’s best.” “I’ll be heading into eighty-four before we’re done Yikes!”
The cast has had to break up. It was like being separated from their families. Jane Fonda especially misses Frankie, her co-star Lily Tomlin. “I love Lily. When I don’t get to see her regularly, it is a problem.

TWO PARTS CAN BE RELEASED FOR SEASON 7
Seven fans waited one year since the first season was released. Martin Sheen, Grace’s husband, told SiriusXM’s Bruce Bozzi that production might first release four episodes and then keep the rest. Martin said that they are discussing streaming the four episodes because the arc seems complete and they have it ready to go. They might put them on, and you’ll be able to see the first four episodes.
He added that filming will take place for more than four months. This means that season one could be released earlier, while season seven might premiere in the early to mid-2022.
HOW MANY EPISODES WILL BE THERE IN THE FINAL SEASON?
Thirteen episodes lasted almost 30 minutes each in the first six seasons. This time, there will be sixteen episodes. Although it is not clear how the extra ninety minutes will be used to improve the storyline or climax of the series, we believe that it will be good.
Grace and Frankie will have 94 episodes total when it’s all over. The show’s seven seasons will make it the longest-running Netflix original series.
WILL SEASON SEVEN-STEP INTO NEW TERRITORY?
Martha Kauffman provided Good Housekeeping with some insight into season 7, even though she hadn’t yet written the script. She said, “In terms of season 7, I cannot say too much, however, we’re going be dealing with Robert Sol, Grace, and Frankie in ways that we haven’t seen before.” “We know as much about season 7 as we can without writing it.” Production is unpredictable and sometimes things that you thought would work brilliantly don’t. Although we think we know where to go, I will let you know when we get there if that plan is followed.
ARE THERE ANY SPOILERS?
Season seven will feature a new Frankie, Grace, and Sol, in addition to the fact that it will also show Robert’s side.
Based on the season six spoiler alert, season seven could see the original four: Grace Frankie, Sol, and Robert living together for the first time since their divorces. This could add to the tensions between Grace’s husband Nick. Season seven could also see another wedding. But we’ll just have to wait.
Martha hopes fans will walk away feeling more confident after saying goodbye to Grace and Frankie. Marta states, “I hope [the show] inspires people that just because one stage of their lives ends doesn’t mean another one doesn’t start — and that it can be more rewarding than the previous ones.” “I want people to realize that they are sexually vibrant and can do anything with a woman friend.
