He replied “In 2010, when Terry and I agreed that people could make Good Omens a TV series, we discussed the structure of the show and where it would go.” Gaiman will be back as showrunner for Good Omens 2, alongside Douglas Mackinnon, Michael Sheen, and Crowley and Aziraphale actors.

Gaiman also discussed how Pratchett and he first thought of the sequel in 1989, one year before Good Omens was published. He wrote, “We had every intention of writing it whenever we had three to four more months.” Terry and I only went to America, while Terry stayed in the UK. After Good Omens was published Sandman changed into SANDMAN. Discworld became DISCWORLD(TM), and it was never a good time. It was something we didn’t forget.”
