Glow Up Season 3

BBC Three’s Glow Up will be back next week, to help you find the next best makeup artist.
Maya Jama is taking over from Stacey Dooley as a presenter and will be joined by judges Val Garland and Dominic Skinner.

Dolli, Sophie (Xavi), Alex, Xavi and Elliot are the MUAs. Ryley, Samah Nicole, Jack, and Craig are the other MUAs.

They’ll try to impress the judges in order to be awarded a contract to perform alongside some of the biggest artists around the globe.

A host of special guest judges will join them as they tackle some challenging tasks.
Rankin, a well-known photographer worldwide, will invite them all to join him and DJ Jonas Blue on a music clip.

Glow Up Season 3

Cate Hall, the Crown’s hairdresser and make-up designer, will be in attendance alongside Loz Schiavo, the makeup designer for Peaky Blinders, and Sherri Laurence, the head of FX’s POSE’s makeup department. They will also be able to help the MUAs with period makeup and prosthetics.

Abby Roberts, TikTok makeup star, will also demonstrate what works via social media. Lisa Eldridge is a leading makeup artist and will be giving a makeover masterclass.
Ateh Jewel, diversity activist, and Vanessa Spence (ASOS design director), will serve as guest judges.

Maya stated that she loves Glowing and is excited to be part of the family.
“I’m obsessed by make-up and creating new looks. It’s going to so much fun and it’s something I can’t wait for to see the MUAs do.”

Stacey, who departed to focus on her new show This Is My House said: “It’s been such a joy to work with Dom and Val. Total stars “And, of course, it was great to meet the artists and appreciate their creativity!” It’s an event that is very close to my heart. I wish everyone involved in the next gig all the love and joy in the world.

Glowing series 1, 2 and 3 are currently available on BBC iPlayer. Series 3 will be online on BBC iPlayer starting at 7 pm Tuesday, April 20.
