DC fans are less than a week away from finally seeing Wonder Woman 1984. The movie will hit theaters and at HBO Max on Christmas Day, and the cast and crew of the show have been raving about us more. Recently, we have seen a virtual premiere of the film, fun behind-the-scenes videos, and much more. Franchise star Gal Gadot has been very active on social media lately, sharing a lot of Wonder Woman content. One of Gadot’s more recent posts reveals that he kept his helmet out of the movie. Gadot explains why in a thrilling joke that hints at some important moments from the film

“I don’t usually have movie memorabilia at home, but this one is so special to me that I had to show it. I won’t spoil it for you, but it is a symbol of strength, of legacy, of Hope, I love having it with me to remind me of all that, ”Gadot wrote. You can see a picture of the helmet below:

Recently, Gadot commented on the news that Wonder Woman 1984 would go straight to HBO Max:

Look, if you had told me a year ago that this is going to be the case, I would go crazy and be super angry. But the truth is, we just didn’t have any better options, “Gadot said. Digital spy. “We felt like we were sitting on this movie for so long, we shot the movie in 2018, we started promoting the movie in 2019, we pushed the movie four times. We felt like the movie was so relevant to what’s going on in the world right now that you come to a place at a certain point where you say, ‘Okay, I just want people to see the movie.’

In Wonder Woman 1984 Diana (Gal Gadot) lives in the 80s, when she is surprised by the return of her dead love, Steve Trevor (Chris Pine). She will take on Maxwell Lord (Pedro Pascal) and Cheetah (Kristen Wiig) as she helps Steve acclimate to the new world in the same way he did for her when he left Themyscira decades earlier.
