The chairman of Indian Premier League Brijesh Patel confirms that the IPL season 14 will be held in UAE this year due to COVID-19 pandemics. likelihood the meeting of governing council on 24th July will discuss and approve the schedule and timing for 2020 IPL edition.

There are lots of possibilities that the IPL will start from the 19 September Saturday not from 26 September and the finals will be played on 8 November Sunday before the Diwali week.

We all know that the T20 Worldcup is scheduled and host by Australia in 2020 but we are also aware of COVID-19 pandemic Australia is not in the condition to host a T20 world cup in October November. So ICC decided to postpone the T20 World Cup.
