England became the first country to make a successful comeback of the Games amidst the havoc of the Corona virus. At the moment, the whole of Europe is struggling with the second wave of Covid 19 but England has decided to take another step in the complete return of the Games. A limited number of spectators will soon be seen enjoying the match on the grounds of England.
The four-week lockdown continues in England and ends on 2 December. After this, a maximum of 4000 spectators can be allowed to enter stadiums for outdoor sports events in England. On Monday, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced the lockdown, taking new steps to prevent Covid-19.
According to the BBC report, a maximum of 4000 spectators will be allowed to enter the stadiums in low risk areas, while two thousand people will be able to go to the stadiums in areas of second risk. Where there is most danger, the game will be without audience. Elite sports events have started in England but the entry of spectators into stadiums is forbidden.
The game was returned only in June
Amidst the devastation of Covid 19, England has played a key role in the return of the Games by first inventing the bio bubble. In June, football matches started being held in England without spectators. Apart from this, players associated with cricket and other sports were also allowed to go to the ground and train in June.
In the beginning of July, a three-Test series was played between England and the West Indies. England has successfully organized cricket series in July, August, September against West Indies, Pakistan and Australia.
