Created by Bill Burr and Michael Price, F is for Family is an American adult animated streaming television series. The show made its debut on 18th December, 2015 on Netflix.
The series has been produced by Gaumont International Television and Vince Vaughn’s Wild West Television. Along with The Simpsons, the animated series was part of the first wave of animated sitcoms.
F is for Family is based on the comical and childhood memories of Bill Burr and Michael Price. Set in the fictional town of Rustvale, Pennsylvania these series focus on in a suburban dysfunctional Irish-American family. It is a 1970s set comedy revolving around the Murphy clan which is decidedly politically incorrect but period-appropriate.
F is for Family Season 5 Release Date
The series has been renewed for one last go-round and the final season is already in pre-production. Season five will premiere on Netflix in 2021, but no confirmation on the official release date has yet been announced. If the show does not face any delay due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, then the fans can expect the show in the later part of the upcoming year.
In a statement confirming the show’s final season, Price said,
“Working on this show with the great Bill Burr, Vince Vaughn, and our amazing cast, writers, producers and crew has been the greatest joy of my life, and I’m thrilled that we get to do one more season with the Murphys.”
On Bill Burr’s podcast, he said,
“I can not tell you how much fun I had doing that show. Writing those characters and working with all the voice-over actors.”
F is for Family Season 5 Cast
We are hoping to see the entire main cast return for the final season. The family patriarch, Frank will be voiced by comedian Bill Burr. Frank’s wife Sue will be voiced by Ozark’s Laura Dern and Frank’s son Kevin by Justin Long.
Debi Derryberry as Maureen Murphy, Haley Reinhart as Bill Murphy and Sam Rockwell as Vic Reynolds will be returning for the final series.
Matt Jones, Vince Vaughn, Jamie Denbo, Al Ducharme, Alex Moffat, Eileen Fogarty and Phil LaMarr are also to return for the season five.

We are expecting to find out more about Frank’s mom, Nora and Sues brother will be confirmed and Ceacescu, a new character will feature in the final season.
