Elite’s third short story released on Netflix starring Omar and Ander! This is our verdict.
Today is the third day of Elite Week on Netflix! After the exceptional event centered on Guzman, Rebeka, and Cayetana, as well as the one concentrated on the love story between Nadia and Guzman – the flagship couple of years of Elite -, it’s, as a result, the flip of Ander along with Omar to maintain the spotlight.
While awaiting the arrival of the next season on the streaming platform, scheduled for this Friday, June 18, the Spanish teen show is offering buffs four quite short bonus episodes. Kinds of appetizers designed to maintain the aficionados of high school pupils in Las Encinas waiting. So what exactly does this new incident have in store for us? This is our verdict.
Elite Season 4 Cast and Characters
In this third episode, we, consequently, find Omar and Ander in the hospital in the company of a third character, called Alexis. The latter, who hasn’t intervened in the show till then, is introduced as a friend in the galley, with whom Ander has shared his chemotherapy.
The first important factor to consider, the former best friend of Guzman appears totally out of those forests, Alexis telling him several times that the latter is”treated”. Second striking detail, we learn in the aftermath that Omar cheated on the latter during his hospitalization and in return, Ander left him damn drool in Elite Season 4. But that’s not all! Within this sequence, it is all but suggested that Ander himself may have cheated Omar with Alexis. Whatever the case, the appearance the two buddies exchange speaks volumes. Almost as long as these words of Alexis addressed Ander: “Can you tell him what?”.
A revelation which could foreshadow the upcoming love triangle to emerge between Ander, Omar, and one of the newest pupils of Las Encinas. An implicit twist dipped in the trailer for Elite season 4. But this isn’t the only element that’s put us in the ears. Indeed, at the end of the last incident (the latter is split into three parts), the young guy in total remission confesses half-heartedly to Alexis to have performed”a terrible act” during his childhood.
A confession that may have a link with future episodes ahead of time. Anyway, this episode considerably darker than the previous ones sheds light on Ander’s state of health and psychology a month or two before the onset of the school year. Torn between the guilt of being treated as well as the desire to live and revel in it.
