Directed by Mark Gatiss and Steven Moffat, Dracula is a drama-horror television series based on the 1897 novel of the same name by Bram Stoker. The series premiered on BBC One and Netflix and is rumored to return with its sequel. The first season consisting of three episodes premiered on 1st January, 2020.

The series enthusiasts are eagerly waiting for any information on the second season. Till now, there has been no official confirmation regarding the release of the second season. Many believe that it won’t get renewed or will take a large amount of time due to the prevailing Covid-19 pandemic. The entertainment industry has come to a standstill with many projects being halted and postponed for an indefinite time. And some rumors are there that it won’t get released before 2022.

Not giving any direct hint, the series’ co-creator Mark Gatiss revealed a vital information in a discussion with radio Times.

“Its very hard to kill a vampire. Do you understand what I mean? What they do is. That would be to give away how it ends, wouldn’t it? That means you will need to wait and see.”

The Plot Of Dracula Season 2

Season 2 is expected to commence where the first season ended. The series follows Dracula from his origins in Eastern Europe to his battles with Van Helsing’s Descendants. According to the description given by Netflix on the series,

“The Count Dracula legend transforms with new tales that flesh out the vampire’s gory crimes -and bring his vulnerability into the light.”
