Dave Season 2

Dave is a semi-autobiography based on David Burd also popularly known as Lil Dicky. Just like his name, the show is quirky, funny and has the audience literally Rolling On The Floor Laughing(ROFL). Dave features on FX and also is available for streaming on Hulu. It was rated as the most comedy show on FX surpassing Atlanta.

About The Show

The show is a fictionalized version of Lil Dicky’s rise to fame. The American rapper has managed to establish himself pretty well in the industry. Apparently, the rapper was quite confident that he would make it big in life. His self depriciating humour and a unique yet real storyline connects with the users. The first Season was about his struggle and dedication to his work. Also about how the internet influenced and backfired at the same time for his career. He had mentioned this in an interview that he wanted to star as himself in his own show or movie. Some dreams do come true I’d say.

Release Date of Dave Season 2

There is no date yet, but Season 2 is definitely happening by the end of 2021. The pandemic has affected its making and hence the delay.

What to expect from Season 2?

Dave Season 1 ended at a critical point in the rapper’s career. Season 2 will pick up from this sequence. Dave has mentioned this that he wanted more incidents from his real life to be a part of the show. Mainly to keep it as real as possible. Apart from all this, Dave’s humour will have a spotlight of its own. In conclusion, be ready for more of hilarious Lil Dicky.

Since the first Season aired before ‘$AVE Dat Money’, the BTS is likely to provide plot for Season 2. There was quite a controversy for the video as Lil Dicky did not spend money at all, instead polititely asked people to help him through. Many argued that this was possible due to his white privilege.

Also Dicky’s first album Professional Rapper which features mainstream artists like Snoop Dogg, T-Pain, Fetty Wap and Brandon Urie of Panic! at the Disco will probably feature in Season 2.

Who Will Feature In The Second Season?

The show cannot begin without David Burd himself. Along with him Taylor Misiak, Christine Ko, GaTa, Andrew Santino and Travis Bennet will continue. We are also hoping that big names like Justin Bieber, Kourtney Kardashian, Snoop Dog, T-Pain also feature in the show.

If after reading this you want to watch the show, beware of sexual and racist jokes. Don’t take them at heart!
