- Bryan’s participation was announced during the Friday Night SmackDown broadcasts on FOX
During the Friday Night SmackDown broadcasts via FOX, it has been announced that Daniel Bryan will compete in the Royal Rumble 2021 men’s battle royal, WWE’s next pay-per-view.
After a surprise victory against Jey Uso on the blue show, Daniel Bryan was interviewed by Kayla Braxton regarding his future within WWE. The leader of the “Yes Movement” declared that he wanted to achieve those achievements that he has not yet been able to show off in his career. With these words, Bryan made his participation official for next year’s battle royal, which has not yet confirmed its number of participants or the prize to be disputed.
This will be Daniel Bryan’s fifth appearance in a Royal Rumble match. The superstar was part of 2011, 2013, 2015, and Greatest Royal Rumble editions. “The American Dragon” has an interesting record of participation in the special edition held in Saudi Arabia. During that day of 2018, Bryan entered the first position and remained in competition for more than an hour and 16 minutes. Despite having surpassed Rey Mysterio’s previous record, WWE does not usually recognize this brand as official.
WWE Royal Rumble will take place on January 31, 2021, from Tropicana Field in Saint Petersburg, Florida. Fans will be able to watch this event via pay-per-view and through WWE Network, as well as in the virtual audience “ThunderDome” mode. Next, the billboard of the event to date
