Throughout this week, several rumors have emerged where they indicated that Damian Priest was going to be promoted to SmackDown last week, specifically to help Kevin Owens in his dispute with Roman Reigns & Jey Uso. The original plans considered Priest the best friend of Owens, hence his intervention to help Owens. The Universal Champion & Owens would have rejected this idea as it would not make sense.
Everything seems to have changed,
As Damian Priest’s fate could be in WWE RAW and he could make his Royal Rumble debut, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. This would not be the only superstar to rise, reports from PWInsider also indicate the rise of Rhea Ripley, the brand that the former NXT Women’s Champion would go to is unknown.
The last time
we got to see both superstars was last Wednesday in their special edition of WWE NXT New Year’s Evil. Damian Priest’s stay in NXT has been fruitful where he has won the North American Championship on one occasion with a 67-day reign. If he finally falls back on WWE RAW, he can undoubtedly give great fights since he would face rivals of stature such as AJ Styles Riddl Drew McIntyre Keith Lee among others.
