Recently, a report from WrestlingInc. He said the contract of Cesaro with WWE expires after WrestleMania. Now, in a new report from journalist Dave Meltzer in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, he claims that Cesaro would have accepted a new deal with the company.
The moment that Cesaro would have accepted his new contract with the company was reportedly after the Gauntlet Match held on WWE SmackDown several weeks ago, where the winner of the match would challenge Roman Reigns at the 2021 Royal Rumble event.
Dave Meltzer reports that Cesaro was scheduled to get the big push that Shinsuke Nakamura received in the match, adding that the idea to babyface he came from Daniel Bryan, who further added that Cesaro should take Nakamura’s place in the match.
