Castlevania Season 4

Castlevania Season 4 – The extremely dark and gruesome adult anime series Castlevania which is based on a video game of the same name created by konami is pretty much going to make its come back on Netflix with a season 4. After a successful season 3 fans are impatiently waiting for a fourth installment especially after the cliffhanger ending in season 3.

The show does have extremely off-putting scenes which include torture, decapitated heads and detailed violence. Such scenes proved to be stomach churning for some viewers where as others do enjoy such violent displays. However, the show did run into controversy for its overtly nude sex scenes, certain fans did describe them as being unnecessary and disturbing.

Castlevania plot so far…

Castlevania is a revenge story of Vlad Dracula Tepes for his human wife who was falsely accused of witchcraft and was burnt alive at the stake by the church as they suspected her of being a witch and worshipping the Devil.

Count Dracula had met Lisa 20 years ago. Lisa wanted to become a Doctor and learnt that Dracula was a man of scientific knowledge. Their mutual interest in science led to romance between them and they got married. 20 years later the church accused her of being a witch and burnt her at stake. Now Dracula wishes to bring havoc to humans whereas his dhampir son Alucard opposes the idea and asks him to bring only the ones at fault to justice.

Season 3 dealt with Alucard’s story and how he had to deal with loneliness after the death of his father the Dracula.

Castlevania Season 4 Release Date

There is no official announcement for season 4 by the maker as of yet, but the previous seasons had a gap of at least 15-16 months before its release. Hence, we can conclude by saying that a new season for Castlevania will only premiere by mid or late 2021.
