Bard of Blood 2 has been taken from its novel named the same, by Bilal Siddiqui. It was an Indian web series. The series streamed on Netflix, with the release of its very first season on the 27th of September, 2019. The director of the series is Ribhu Dasgupta with Red Chillies Entertainment as the producer. The production team also includes the shining star Shah Rukh Khan and his wife Gauri Khan. The telecast was in Hindi with seven episodes, each of 40-50 minutes.

The series had a blast of overwhelming critic reviews, not only in India but across the globe. With a very high Netflix rating and asper the high demand by its fan to bring on a bit more of this outstanding web series of Indian origin, we believe that the creators of the show likely have a next season planning in their mind to surprise and reward the audience. However, the audience will have to have a little patience for such a thing to happen because the world is already upside down due to the outbreak of the pandemic and we do expect a new release, maybe by the end of 2021.

However, the first season had portrayed the life and the tale of an “ex-IIW representative”, and all that summed up into a blast of a storyline combined with acting and screenplay which received some very positive and highly rated feedbacks. However, the audience might anticipate the involvement of Anand on a new lead of assignment, we will see him skill-fully managing both his life and his career as a teacher as well as an intelligence agent, just like we saw in the previous season. So, there is a ray of hope at the end of the tunnel and a new season of ‘bard of blood’ can be expected by the audience in the very near future.
