Baptiste season 2 release date and time
Confirmed – Baptiste will start on Sunday 18 July at 9 pm on BBC One New episodes will be aired every Sunday on the NBC channel. From the 18th, you can access the whole season in a box set through iPlayer.
Filming in Budapest began originally in February 2020. But, given this date, you can probably guess the coronavirus epidemic delayed production.
Who is in the Baptiste season 2 cast?
Tcheky Karyo, as Julien Baptiste, will direct the new season.
“I’m so proud of Harry & Jack for their new, audacious story in Hungary,” declared the French actor.
“I can’t believe I’m about to embark on Julien’s adventure and all the emotions that he’s about to experience. “I’m excited to share this amazing journey with an incredible cast.”
Fiona Shaw, a British Ambassador who is looking for relatives in Hungary, will be joining him.
Shaw said, “It’s an honor to be joining this tremendously talented and committed group with the superb writings of Harry and Jack Williams as well as under the direction and guidance of Thomas Napper.”
“I am so blessed to be working with the best of the next generation!”

Baptiste ended the first series with shocking revelations that Julien was a corrupt cop working for a criminal gang.
Niels murdered his mother during the showdown. He was finally captured and sent to jail for his crimes.
Baptiste’s psychological trauma will be the focus of the second series. However, he will also take on another disturbing case.
Here’s the BBC’s summary: “When Emma Chambers’ (Fiona Shaw), family vanishes during a skiing vacation in the Hungarian Mountains, Baptiste becomes entangled in Emma’s life and vows to find her husband, father, and two sons. Julien must navigate a Hungarian Police force he does not trust and unrelenting media attention that is hungry for information on this high-profile international case.
“Julien must be rational even in the facing chaos to find Emma’s family. Is he able to solve the most complicated case he has yet solved?
