If you are a sucker for reality dating shows, there are good news for you ahead, Bachelor in Paradise is back with a brand new seventh season. The show is a part of The Bachelor franchise and is a spin-off of the reality TV show The Bachelor and The Bachelorette. Season 7 has recently been announced by ABC network and we are totally in for more drama than ever.

Cast

There are no official disclosure for the cast and crew for season 7. But as we all know, Chris Harrison will be hosting season 7 as well.

What Is The Show All About?

As mentioned before, Bachelor in Paradise is a spin-off for The Bachelor and The Bachelorette and includes contestants from the two shows to compete with each other. The show takes place at a secluded beach exotic in Tulum, Mexico (which indeed looks like paradise) and the contestants have to make connections with each other to make a perfect couple. There are weekly eliminations. Eliminations remove the weakest couple.

Like any other dating show, Bachelor in Paradise also is filled with a lot of drama and of course a lot of spice. Many couples like Dean Unglert and Caelynn Miller-Keyes, Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon were able to find their soulmate in each other and decided to tie the knot! On the other hand, there are couples like Chris Randone and Krystal Nielson who tied the knot on national TV but decided to part ways. Therefore, we can say that the reality show did have an equal ratio of success stories.

Release Date

The Coronavirus crisis has drastically affected everyone, so has this show been a victim. ABC Network renewed Bachelor in Paradise way back in 2019. They decided the release date to be in August 2020. But, unfortunately, an unforeseeable delay due to the pandemic had put the filming of the show on halt as the show does require overseas travelling. Hence, the reality show has now been postponed for a release in mid-2021 and there is no official release date as of now.
