The filming of the sequels to Avatar is still underway and, before the end of 2020, the director James Cameron wanted to share with his follower’s new images of the production.

In the photographs, you can see a boat and a car with a camera crane on its roof. Cameron has explained what these two elements are in the description of his publication: “The last set for the 2020 shoot. The Matador (a command ship of more than 15 meters) on a 360-degree motion control base and 16 tons. Three techno cranes and a Russian arm mounted on top of a Mercedes-Benz. Just another day on the set of the Avatar sequels. ”

It’s not the first time we’ve seen the ins and outs of filming the Avatar sequels. Both Cameron and producer Jon Landau have been showing different moments of the production of the films through social networks. In the photographs we have been able to see Kate Winslet filming scenes underwater, new characters like the one played by Edie Falco, and also different film sets.

The Jake Sully and Neytiri story that began in 2009 will continue on the big screen by expanding the world created by Cameron. Avatar 2 will arrive planned to hit theaters on December 16, 2022. Avatar 3 on December 20, 2024, and Avatar 4 on December 18, 2026. Lastly, Avatar 5 is scheduled to release on December 22, 2028.
