• The first match of the Test series between India and Australia will be played in Adelaide on 17 December
  • According to Kapil Dev, the table of the hosts will be slightly heavier than the Indian team.

Former veteran all-rounder and captain of the Indian team, Kapil Dev has given a huge response to the 4-match Test series between India and Australia. The first match of the Test series between India and Australia will be played in Adelaide on 17 December and Kapil Dev has told which team will have more chance to win this series. According to Kapil Dev, the table of the hosts will be slightly heavier than the Indian team.

Kapil Dev was speaking in a virtual session on behalf of the Indian Chamber of Commerce. During this, he said that the Australian team is playing in their home and that is why their upper hand will be heavy. They said,

“Australia has an upper hand for sure. They are playing on their home ground. Had the Indian team been playing the Pink Ball Test match in India, I would have said that 80 percent of the competition is in our favor. But Australia has played many day-night Tests so far and are more aware of the conditions.

According to Kapil Dev, Australian bowlers know better about conditions.

According to Kapil Dev, India have an excellent fast bowling attack but Australian bowlers know more about the conditions than them. They said,

“We may have an excellent fast bowling attack but they know more conditions than our fast bowlers. Our bowlers are not used to bowling on Australian pitches. Sometimes they also bowl short. The most important thing is to bowl according to your pace and strength.

Let us tell you that for the first time the Indian team will play a day-night Test match in Australia. Prior to this, he has played only once in a day-night match and that too was against Bangladesh in India. However, the Kangaroo team has played many matches with Pink Ball in their country.
