FX has renewed the freakish anthology American Horror Story (AHS) for a tenth season. The show first aired on 21st December, 2011 and became an instant fan favourite, also, the critics have highly appreciated the show may it be the characters or the screenplay. IMDB has given AHS a rating of 8/10 and Rotten Tomatoes has rated the 9th Season 87%.

American Horror Story is an anthology, that means every season is a mini horror series in its own and are given subtitles each. The season titles are as follows:

Cast
The cast of the show includes a variety of actors who often repeat in different seasons. Some of the known actors from the show include Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson, Lily Rabe, Frances Conroy, Kathy Bates, Denis O’Hare, Jessica Lange, Emma Roberts, Jamie Brewer, Angela Bassett, Adina Porter, and Finn Wittrock appear.
Ryan Murphy the creator of the show announced that cast members from season 3 will return for season 10 of the show. Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates, Leslie Grossman, Billie Lourd, Evan Peters, Adina Porter, Rabe, Angelica Ross, Finn Wittrock and Macaulay Culkin were cast in the new season.
Plot
FX has not disclosed the plot for the tenth season of the show as of yet however, the ninth season of AHS did receive a lot of critical acclaim. The season dealt with a summer camp massacre that occurred in 1984, following which the summer camp reopened.
Release Date
The makers announced on 26th May 2020 that season 10 will be postponed to 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic crisis however, the show’s filming resumed in October, 2020. But Murphy has not announced the release date yet. However, the makers have also announced that the show has been renewed for 3 more seasons. Which means the audience is going to get 13 seasons of spooks.
