Alice In Borderland Season 2

Japanese Science fiction thriller Alice in Borderland is all set to return to Netflix for a season 2. The premiered on the streaming giant on December 10, 2020. Now, Netflix announced the second season by sharing a mini teaser of the show via their official Twitter account.

The makers renewed the show after only two weeks of the season 1 premiere.

Alice in Borderland is on a manga series of the same name by Haro Aso and explores the dystopian story of three carefree young best friends which changes after they enter a parallel dimension.

The show is a super hit among the audience as well as critics and has garnered a rating of 7.8/10 on the IMDB’s website.

However, the makers have not disclosed the release date yet.

What Is The Show All About?

As mentioned earlier, Alice in Borderland is a science fiction thriller with dystopian vibes. The show revolves around three best friends. Arisu is an obsessed video gamer. To an extent, his family calls him a “misfit”.

He along with his two friends Chōta and Karube always hang out together for night outs.

One night their mischievous activities come to the notice of the police and they are chased by them. This whole chase lands them in a bathroom which they consider a perfect spot to hide. When they return to the city the boys realize that they have entered a parallel Tokyo.

The city seems to be abandoned with only one billboard which takes them to a gaming arena. Whoever enters this arena once, will have to play death-defying games to survive, or else they will be killed. Now, the only way the boys can return is by playing these fatal games.


The show features Kento Yamazaki as Ryōhei Arisu in the main protagonist role. Other cast members include:
