Former WWE champion Alberto Del Rio was indicted Thursday by a grand jury on one count of aggravated kidnapping and four counts of sexual assault, the Bexar County (Texas) District Attorney’s Office announced.

The alleged incident occurred on May 3, and Del Rio, whose real name is Jose Rodriguez Chucuan, was arrested on May 9. According to reports, Rodriguez Chucuan is accused of tying down his ex-girlfriend with boxing pliers and sexually assaulting her for several hours. In Texas, a guilty verdict for aggravated kidnapping can yield a sentence of between five and 99 years.

Rodriguez Chucuan, 43, is a former WWE champion and WWE World Heavyweight champion. He was with the pro wrestling promotion from 2009 to 2014 and returned in 2015 and’16.

Rodriguez Chucuan also has 15 career MMA fights. He fought UFC Hall of Famer Tito Ortiz in a pay-per-view main occasion for its Combate Americas advertising in December. Ortiz conquers Del Rio by an entry in the initial round.
