Shinsuke Nakamura was the most prominent superstar of the last episode of Friday Night SmackDown by eliminating three opponents in the Gauntlet Match to determine Roman Reigns’ rival at Royal Rumble. After getting rid of Rey Mysterio and King Corbin he faced Daniel Bryan and, against all odds achieved victory by the count of three. However in the end he was defeated by Adam Pearce.
