Six players of the Pakistan cricket team who visited New Zealand have been found to be Corona positive. The New Zealand Cricket Board has given information about this. All these players have been quarantined. The relaxation of practice found during isolation has also been banned. Earlier, before leaving for New Zealand, team batsman Fakhar Zaman was also found to have symptoms of Corona, due to which he was ruled out of the New Zealand tour. However, the names of these six players are not known yet.

Pakistan’s team arrived in New Zealand on Tuesday, after which the team was to remain in quarantine for 14 days. New Zealand Cricket issued a statement saying, “Out of these six players, the symptoms found inside two players were already present, while four players have recently been exposed to the virus. The waiver of practice given to the Pakistan team during the isolation has been put on hold until the investigation is complete.

The Pakistan team is to play a series of three T20 and 2 Tests on the tour of New Zealand, which will begin with T20 matches and the first match will be played in Auckland on 18 December. Before this tour, Pakistan team appointed Babar Azam of the team as the new Test captain and this will be their first series as captain. Babar Azam is already leading Pakistan in ODIs and T20s.
