In the Netflix catalog one can find a huge amount of original and acquired series. However, the offer is such that many times the search becomes eternal.

To prevent you from navigating aimlessly, we present a list of three series on police mysteries that may interest you.

Sherlock

This modern version of the stories created by Arthur Conan Doyle is set in 21st century London and follows the adventures of Sherlock, an eccentric detective with incredible deduction skills who must solve mysterious cases together with his inseparable partner John Watson.

Created by Mark Gatiss and  Steven Moffat , the British series stars Benedict Cumberbatch ,  Martin Freeman ,  Rupert Graves ,  Lars Mikkelsen and  Andrew Scott . Its four seasons are available on the streaming platform.

White zone

The story revolves around Police Chief Laurène Weisse and prosecutor Franck Siriani, who must investigate a series of murders and disturbing phenomena that take place in Villefranche, a town on the edge of a forest.

Created by Mathieu Missoffe , the French series stars Suliane Brahim ,  Hubert Delattre ,  Laurent Capelluto ,  Samuel Jouy ,  Camille Aguilar and  Renaud Rutten . Its two seasons are available on the streaming platform.

Mindhunter

Based on the book  Mind Hunter: Inside FBI’s Elite Serial Crime Unit  written by  Mark Olshaker  and  John E. Douglas , this series is set in the late 1970s and revolves around two FBI agents who interview various criminals and rapists to determine the motivations behind their crimes, which will allow them to build a psychological profile of each one.

Created by  Jon Penhall  and produced by  David Fincher  (who directed seven episodes), the series stars  Jonathan Groff, Holt McCallany and Anna Torv, among others. While there are two seasons available, it is unknown if there will be a third  as the actors were released from their contracts.
