I have a class clientSocket that connect to the Server, sends some data and receives some data.

Netscape requires that the address used for a socket connection back to the web server matches the URL hostname used to load the applet. If the applet was loaded with a URL of 1.2.3.4, where 1.2.3.4 is the host example.com, then you must use 1.2.3.4 to open the socket connection, not example.com. The same holds in the reverse direction, too. If you connect with example.com, you can't use 1.2.3.4.
