I installed weblogic6.0 and oracle database server. I am trying to access data through a jsp page. For numeric values in database, i am getting the correct result from the data base by the ResultSet (rs.getInt(1)).

But if I am trying to get the string values like names using ResultSet's getString , I am getting below sql exception.

.....java.sql.SQLException: ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [ttcgcshnd-1], [0], [], [], [], [], [], []

Can anybody tell me what is the problem?

I have come across this error in the past when I was trying to use jdbc Oracle 8i driver for a oracle 9i database server.
Make sure u have proper class12.zip or jar in your classpath.
