Can i use XML DOM object in a stored procedure...??

Hello All,

I need to read a .xml file saved in a particular folder

on the server. Like the way i use DOM object to read
a .xml file in ASP/javascript,can i do the same in a
stored procedure under SQL server 2000....???and
how....??? Urgent help will be very much
appreciated....!!!

I have found answer of your question. You can create stored procedure using executeUpdate(..) method of Statement class. So now you can get values i.e. information from DOM Node of XML document and use them in stored procedure with concatination sign "+".

I have not hear about it yet. You can directly map XML documents into tables but i have not read about your requirement before. I think you can use DOM plus Stored Procedure in a dll which contains your business logic.
