Is it possible to setup a direct HTTPS tunnel to a router (ie. with out a HTTP proxy infront of it)?


Some firewalls will allow HTTP and HTTPS connections out but not require the client to go through a proxy first.

If your f/w validates the protocol during transmit then the answer is no.
