Can anyone tell me if the Oracle AQ JMS API supports JTA (UserTransaction)?

If not, is there another way in which I can use a JDBC2 database driver and OracleAQ (native or JMS api) to implement distributed transactions.

Or, I'd be happy if I could just get support for transactions across JBDC2 database connections and OracleAQ queues.

I'm using Oracle 8.1.7 (Enterprise Edition)

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
