I have been unable to find how to configure the size of a topic within SwiftMQ 3.2. While queues do have a cache-size attribute, i can find no such parameter for a topic. I have tried configuring the queue that sits behind the topic (tpc$topicname) but that entry causes an error indicating a badly named topic.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Xander

The tpc$topicname isn't a real queue; it's virtual to perform topic publisher transactions on it. Real queues are those of subscribers (durable/non-durable). You can configure those queues with the default settings of the Queue Manager Swiftlet (default cache size, flow control start queue size etc). These values are taken when the resp. subscriber queue is created.
