Hi all, I have a SilverStream application that obtains its database connection from SilverStream 3.7 server by usual way: InitialContext ic=new InitialContext (); DataSource ds=(DataSource)ic.lookup(db); c=ds.getConnection(); When this application is rewritten without using any SilverStream classes and run as a servlet (under Tomcat), this does not work. Can anyone help me advising how do I configure my application in order for it to be able to get connection ? (I think I have to specify SilverStream factories in the jndi.properties file, but which ones ? I have not found that in SilverStream documentation). Thank you.    More>>

Hi all,

I have a SilverStream application that obtains its database connection from SilverStream 3.7 server by usual way:

InitialContext ic=new InitialContext ();
DataSource ds=(DataSource)ic.lookup(db);
c=ds.getConnection();

When this application is rewritten without using any SilverStream classes and run as a servlet (under Tomcat), this does not work.

Can anyone help me advising how do I configure my application in order for it to be able to get connection ? (I think I have to specify SilverStream factories in the jndi.properties file, but which ones ? I have not found that in SilverStream documentation).

Thank you.    <<Less
