I have a web application running on apache and tomcat. It uses ssl when clients connect.

I want to be able to provide a secondary web server that I could redirect users to if the primary one is down. Can this be done using one domain and ssl certificate? or will i have to have two domains each with ssl certificates, for each machine and do a redirect on the DNS.
