How to make the panel or frame transparent

I want to know how to make the panel or frame transparent, so that when i run the application on the desktop i could see the desk top through the component like JPanel or JFrame. Any help in this regard if highly appreciated. Thanks in advance

well I don't think JFrame can be transperent but wut u need can be accomplished using a JWindow maybe
