I was using 1.3beta.. and installed IDEA 2.5.2 on top of that. Now because of some IDE problems I was suggested to shift to 1.4 JRE.. could somebody tell me how to change the JDK that IDEA uses during start-up?

Things I already tried:

1. Added the 1.4 JDK to Project properties

2. Manually changed 'jdk.table.xml' to make 1.4 JDK as 'default=true'

But no change.. it still picks up the 1.3beta.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks, Pramod

I changed the 1.3 to 1.3.1 and it worked fine.

Go where you have your intelihIdea then go to the bin directory, there you will find a file called idea.lax, edit that file, and change all the 1.3 by your jdk 1.4 path, start the IDE and this would be enough, I hope :-).

I hope it helps.
