iam using Apache- Tomcat server (Servlet) and a java Client as the SOAP Client.

previously SOAP was over HTTP.

now I downloaded JSSE1.2,changed the classpath accordingly and included the jar files specified and using the Keytool i generated a client.keystore and a server.keystore and also copied the client certificate to the server.keystore and viceversa.

problem is:

step1: I remove the server certificate from the Client.keystore

step2:Run the TOMCAT server.

when i try to connect the SOAP Client over HTTPS it says:

Using https to connect to 16.138.1.184 on port #8443

it says the above things and the TOMCAT SERVER CRASHES.
saying the following things:--------------------

iam not able to find out WHY THE TOMCAT SERVER IS CRASHING?

it should just say that it couldnt find the trusted certificate, but the SERVER SHOULDN'T CRASH, ISN'T IT?

please give me an answer to this quetion as soon as possible?

thanks and regards
